Adenia venenata- RESTOCK

Size: 4 inch pot

Product #1004

A succulent member of the Passion Flower family native to Yemen and East Africa. It produces a conical or bottle-shaped caudex, deeply lobed leaves, and small whitish-green dioecious flowers. The fruit is light green with dark green veining very similar to watermelon but much smaller. Prune the vining growth regularly.  In Florida, Zebra Longwing and Gulf Fritillary butterfly caterpillars will do the vine pruning for you, basically down to the caudex. Not edible like typical passion fruit, the sap is on the toxic side.

Available in 2 and 4-inch pots.
