Shipping & Return Policy
Our shipping options include USPS priority mail and UPS. These options will assure plants arrive in three days or less providing for happy plants on arrival and less time in route.
Our packing and shipping days are Monday and Tuesday only. Orders placed Tuesday-Sunday will be shipped the following week.
In order to prevent damage to the root system, most of our plants are shipped in their pot unless otherwise stated.
*REGARDING OUR PHOTOS*
Before placing your order please note plant description, pot size, and photo. Our photos include pictures of your plant in various stages of growth and/or bloom cycle.
Our photos are for illustrative purposes only. Unless specifically stated, you may or may not receive the exact plant as photographed.
Keep in mind that all plants have variation. The plant you receive will be of similar size, shape, color, and maturity level as seen in the photographs of the pot size you purchase.
*REGARDING SEASONS AND COLD WEATHER CLIMATES*
Depending on the time of year, your plant may or may not be in bloom at the time of purchase. In addition, during winter months, most of our plants will be in their dormancy phase (free of foliage and blooms)

If plants are to be shipped to cold weather climates during winter and fall months, it is highly recommended that you purchase shipping heat packs through our website at an addition fee of $2.50. Packs are available in our catalog. Most of our plants are cold sensitive. Refusal to order heat packs shipping to areas where temperatures are below frost level is at the discretion of the customer. Red Island Plants will not guarantee safe shipment of plants to cold climates without the aid of heat packs.
We cannot guarantee you will have complete success growing our plants. As all gardeners know some plants are easy, and some can be more challenging. If you have an issue, we are here to help. Send us an email and we would be happy to provide you with additional tips on caring for your plant. If you are not fully satisfied with your order, returns must be made within seven days. The cost of return shipping is not refundable.
If you find that your plant has been damaged during the shipping process, an email with an attached photo must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of arrival in order to receive a refund.
Prior to returning plants, you must contact Red Island Plants via email for packing instructions.
