We have seedlings available.

From Africa, Asia, and primarily India.

Commiphora wightii is a member of the Burseraceae family. Also known as the Guggul tree, Indian bdellium tree, or the Mukul myrrh.

This shrubby short tree has papery exfoliating bark and trifoliate leaves. Its pink and red flowers produce fruit that turn red when ripe. The seed, when squeezed out, is an unusual looking kernel that is brown with yellow margins on each angle.

Considered one of the myrrh trees, it produces a fragrant resin know as gum guggul used for incense and perfumes. The aroma is enchanting.

Guggul has also been use in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries.

Its shape and growth habit make it an excellent choice for bonsai.
