From South Africa, this WEIRD and interesting caudiciform vine is nicknamed the Elephant's Foot Plant because of its deeply fissured surface.

Also known as Turtle Back or Turtle Plant as the caudex looks resembles a turtle shell. The caudex it round and raised rather than flat.

With its deeply fissured grooves, the caudex is truly an eye catcher. Each plant has its own character.

The leaves are heart shaped and the flowers are yellow/green.

A member of the Potato Family, the species is dioecious, meaning single sex on the plant.

Although this species tends to go dormant in the summer, here in Florida, ours just leafed out (May, June, July).

Available in 6 inch pot size and our supply is LIMITED.

Ships in pot.
