Endemic to the rocky granite cliffs of Cap Manambato in NE Madagascar. 

A shrub type Euphorbia with 6-8 angled stems that branch freely with large tear drop shaped green leaves. 

The spines are odd, hair like, and arranged in random clusters on the ridges of the angled stems. 

The flowers are borne in clusters at the top of the stems and are bright citrus yellow.

The plants have been grown from seed. They are nicely branched and approximately  two years old.
